A few people to whom I have particularly
drawn inspiration from are the works of Frei Otto, Santiago Calatrava, Tadao Ando, Lord Norman Foster and Raj Rewal. A keen
interest in photography made me join the four months courses from the Photographic Society of India along my 4th year architecture.
The ability to effectively express the complexity of the ideas envisioned by the mind through the medium of 2-dimensional
paper by drawings and images is paramount for our profession. My secondary interests in animation and rendering abstracts
have furthermore developed me as a designer and a creative person and the ability to express my thoughts.
After graduating I joined Khatter
and Associates, a firm in Mumbai, as an assistant architect. Work experience in the firm exposed me to the real world
of architecture. I was involved in a series of projects ranging from theatres to town halls and from designing bungalows and
interior design for residential and commercial projects. Each project in itself was a unique experience and has contributed
to my overall development as a professional and also on a humanitarian level.
